Shrewsbury School's first girls' boarding house

Designed to house 60 girls, Mary Sidney Hall was the first girls' boarding house to be built at Shrewsbury School.

The accommodation includes 24 en-suite rooms and dormitories for the girls as well as a house masters house, matrons flat and tutors flat.

Generous ciculation space is provided throughout the new building to facilitate a variety of informal social spaces for the girls.
